What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is the insertion of fine needles into the skin and tissue to reduce pain and increase the flow of Qi ( pronounced “chi”). Qi is a vital energy that flows along the 14 meridians throughout the human body. Pain and disease are created when the flow of Qi is blocked. Acupuncture treatments will resume the flow of Qi and therefore help support a healthy body and prevent imbalances.
